Kurt Kumetat

Kurt has over 30 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Client Manager working with clients from 5 to 500 employees. Prior to working at Marreel Slater Insurance, Kurt worked for Brown & Brown for 5 years. Kurt also managed a life and health insurance agency, Langdon Insurance Services, in Manhattan Beach, CA for 18 years prior to moving to Arizona in 2009.

A California native, Kurt grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area before attending college at UCLA. Kurt received his B of A at UCLA where he was a Senior Staff writer for the UCLA student newspaper, The Daily Bruin. Kurt had over 400 articles published, covered 2 Rose Bowl Champion football teams and 7 National Champion teams in various sports.

Kurt and his wife Maria live in the Phoenix area where his hobbies include photography, hiking and traveling.
